Her parents desperately reached out to the organization, but they were ignored. Yet again, Purvi had to re-learn how to walk, adjusting her gait to compensate for having one leg shorter than the other. For two years Purvi struggled with painful and limited mobility, self-conscious of her ill-fitting prosthesis. ![Purvi_2](https://thecommunity.altso.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Purvi_2.png?width=1200&name=Purvi_2.png) One fateful day in 2020, her father learned of our program with GetBak in India, and Purvi received her first Joshi modular prosthetic limb - ensuring a growth spurt never stunts her mobility again. Purvi now walks with confidence, knowing that we'll be there to make sure she maintains her mobility, and all that it offers, through the age of 21.
